- aeonfun/aeon/skills/shiplog/SKILL.md MIT licensed, one prompt file
What it does
Shiplog is an aeon skill: Recap of everything shipped since the last run - cross-repo PRs, security fixes, star deltas, and X traction, synthesized into a digest article and a ready-to-post shiplog in your voice. Like every aeon skill it is one SKILL.md prompt file that runs unattended on your own GitHub Actions, on a schedule or when you trigger it, and sends what it finds to Telegram, Discord, Slack or email.
Produce two artifacts:
- Digest - a themed, human-readable recap of everything that shipped + traction (the article).
- Shiplog post - a tight, bulleted, ready-to-post version in the operator's voice, every project @-tagged (the notification).
Input: the var setting
Every aeon skill takes one optional text input, var, set in aeon.yml or typed in when you run it by hand. It picks the target or the mode for that run.
Optional, space-separated flags:
since:YYYY-MM-DD- override the window start (default: when this skill last ran).days:N- window = last N days.dry-run- render to stdout; write no article, no state, no notify.owner/repo- narrow GitHub coverage to that one repo.- any other word - focus/theme filter (a product name or keyword).
Empty = everything shipped since the last run, across all configured repos.
What it needs
Besides the model you connected to aeon, Shiplog uses the following. Add secrets as GitHub Actions secrets on your aeon repo, or in Aeon Connect.
XAI_API_KEY- optional secret, unlocks more data or featuresGH_GLOBAL- optional secret, unlocks more data or features
Install and run it
Easiest: open Aeon Connect, sign in with GitHub and turn on Shiplog. No clone, no terminal. To add it to an existing aeon repo from a shell, run:
Then switch it on in aeon.yml (the default schedule is filled in):
