Skill Chains
Compose multi-step pipelines in aeon.yml where parallel upstream skills feed outputs into downstream consumers.
Skill chains pass outputs between skills without an external orchestrator, executing as sequential and parallel workflow steps via .github/workflows/chain-runner.yml.
Defining a Chain
Declare chains under the chains: key in aeon.yml:

Step dispatch
parallel: steps fan out concurrently; sequential skill: steps wait for prior steps to finish.
Output capture
Each completed step writes its markdown output to output/.chains/<skill>.md.
Downstream injection
Steps that declare consume: [...] receive the listed upstream output/.chains/<skill>.md files directly in their prompt context.
Error handling
on_error: fail-fast aborts the chain on the first failed step; on_error: continue runs downstream steps with whatever upstream outputs succeeded.
