What aeon is
Most agent tools are interactive - useful for hands-on work, less so for the long tail of recurring tasks: priority briefs, market monitoring, PR reviews, research digests, security scans. aeon owns that tail and runs it unattended. It is your own GitHub repo plus a set of GitHub Actions workflows. Start it in the browser with Aeon Connect: sign in with GitHub, connect a model, pick your skills. No clone, no terminal. You own the repo, the keys and the memory; Aeon Connect hosts the dashboard and a remote MCP server, but runs stay on your GitHub Actions. A public repository means unlimited free Actions minutes - you only pay for the model and API keys you connect.
How it works
Two files define your agent. SOUL.md carries your voice; STRATEGY.md carries your intent - one metric, a few priorities, the hard limits. Every skill reads both before it acts. Each run is scored 1–5 by Claude Haiku, and when a skill fails repeatedly aeon diagnoses and patches it on its own. What do I need to run aeon?
A GitHub account and a model: a Claude subscription, an API key, or another supported login. The fastest way in is Aeon Connect at https://www.aeon.fun/connect: sign in with GitHub, create your aeon repo, connect a model, and pick your skills, all in the browser with no clone or terminal. Prefer the terminal? Clone the repo and run ./aeon init. Either way GitHub Actions handles scheduling, execution, and notifications via Telegram, Discord, Slack, or Email.
What are skills?
Skills are the units of work aeon performs. Each is a SKILL.md file with a schedule and when-to-use guidance. aeon ships 85 skills across Core, Basics, Crypto & Markets, Dev & Code, Productivity, and Evolution - and it can write brand-new skills on demand when a goal needs data no existing skill collects.
Does aeon have a public API?
No hosted REST API. You own everything: your repo, your keys, your GitHub Actions, your memory. Aeon Connect hosts the dashboard you set an agent up from, plus a remote MCP server at https://www.aeon.fun/connect/mcp so ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP client can run your skills and read the results after you sign in with GitHub. Runs still happen on your own GitHub Actions. Developers can also integrate through the open-source repository or a GitHub App (the ADK) - the unit of integration is a skill, not a REST endpoint.
What is $aeon?
$aeon is a fair-launched token on Base - no insider allocation and no unlocks. Protocol fees flow to the treasury and back into buybacks. Live treasury holdings and ownership over time are published on the transparency page.
