What it does

Narrative Convergence is an aeon skill: Cross-skill signal detector - finds entities or themes surfaced independently by 3+ different skill categories within 48h and surfaces them as high-confidence write opportunities. Like every aeon skill it is one SKILL.md prompt file that runs unattended on your own GitHub Actions, on a schedule or when you trigger it, and sends what it finds to Telegram, Discord, Slack or email.

narrative-tracker follows narratives inside one feed (crypto X) and tracks their phase. It works well when the narrative is already named.

This skill does something different: it detects emergent cross-skill convergence - when independent operational skills (security scanners, market trackers, sector pulses, etc.) all surface the same entity, company, protocol, or theme within 48h, without any prior coordination. That kind of convergence is a higher-signal indicator than any single source - it often precedes a breakout narrative. Example: a security skill flags a company's automated-vulnerability work, a social digest catches that same company announcing a major deal, and a market tracker notes a related fraud-prevention win - three independent skills, one entity, in 48h. That bleedthrough is the signal. This skill catches it automatically.

Input: the var setting

Every aeon skill takes one optional text input, var, set in aeon.yml or typed in when you run it by hand. It picks the target or the mode for that run.

Optional entity or theme filter (e.g. "Anthropic", "coordination markets"). If empty, scans all skill output categories.

What it needs

No extra API keys or MCP servers. It runs on the model you connected to aeon (a Claude subscription token, an API key, or another login).

Install and run it

Easiest: open Aeon Connect, sign in with GitHub and turn on Narrative Convergence. No clone, no terminal. To add it to an existing aeon repo from a shell, run:

bin/add-skill aeonfun/aeon narrative-convergence

Then switch it on in aeon.yml (the default schedule is filled in):

skills:
  narrative-convergence: { enabled: true, schedule: "0 13 * * *", var: "" }
