What it does

Last 30 Days is an aeon skill: Cross-platform social research - narrative-first intelligence on what people are saying about a topic across Reddit, X, HN, Polymarket, and the web over the last 30 days. Like every aeon skill it is one SKILL.md prompt file that runs unattended on your own GitHub Actions, on a schedule or when you trigger it, and sends what it finds to Telegram, Discord, Slack or email.

Google aggregates editors. A flat "top N posts per platform" aggregates noise. This skill does two things differently: (1) reframes output around narratives (clusters the same story across platforms) instead of platform-siloed recaps, and (2) makes the disagreement between platforms the primary signal - where Reddit is bearish and X is bullish on the same story, that divergence is usually the most actionable finding.

Input: the var setting

Every aeon skill takes one optional text input, var, set in aeon.yml or typed in when you run it by hand. It picks the target or the mode for that run.

Topic to research (required). Append --quick for a lighter pass (≤15 sources), or --days=N to change the lookback window (default: 30).

What it needs

Besides the model you connected to aeon, Last 30 Days uses the following. Add secrets as GitHub Actions secrets on your aeon repo, or in Aeon Connect.

  • XAI_API_KEY - required secret

Install and run it

Easiest: open Aeon Connect, sign in with GitHub and turn on Last 30 Days. No clone, no terminal. To add it to an existing aeon repo from a shell, run:

bin/add-skill aeonfun/aeon last30

Then switch it on in aeon.yml (the default schedule is filled in):

skills:
  last30: { enabled: true, schedule: "workflow_dispatch", var: "" }
