What it does

TaskMarket Delegate is an aeon skill: Delegate work to the TaskMarket agent-worker market - browse open tasks, create tasks with explicit authorization, and track/submit work, so an agent can outsource instead of burning inference on unreliable or low-confidence work. Like every aeon skill it is one SKILL.md prompt file that runs unattended on your own GitHub Actions, on a schedule or when you trigger it, and sends what it finds to Telegram, Discord, Slack or email.

Input: the var setting

Every aeon skill takes one optional text input, var, set in aeon.yml or typed in when you run it by hand. It picks the target or the mode for that run.

TaskMarket action. Examples:

  • browse - list open tasks (public, no key needed)
  • browse:<query> - filter open tasks by keyword (e.g. browse:mcp)
  • create "<title>" "<description>" [reward] [tags] - create a task (requires TASKMARKET_API_KEY + explicit operator authorization)
  • track - show this fork's submitted work status
  • submit "<taskId>" "<message>" [github_url] - submit completed work (requires TASKMARKET_API_KEY)

What it needs

Besides the model you connected to aeon, TaskMarket Delegate uses the following. Add secrets as GitHub Actions secrets on your aeon repo, or in Aeon Connect.

  • TASKMARKET_API_KEY - optional secret, unlocks more data or features
  • TASKMARKET_WORKER_ADDRESS - optional secret, unlocks more data or features

Install and run it

Easiest: open Aeon Connect, sign in with GitHub and turn on TaskMarket Delegate. No clone, no terminal. To add it to an existing aeon repo from a shell, run:

bin/add-skill aeonfun/aeon taskmarket-delegate

Then switch it on in aeon.yml (the default schedule is filled in):

skills:
  taskmarket-delegate: { enabled: true, schedule: "workflow_dispatch", var: "" }
